Where does back-office time go in a Dubai company?

In many SMEs the same data is typed three times: from a PDF into accounting, from an email into the ERP, from the ERP into a spreadsheet for the monthly report. Invoices arrive in English and Arabic, from suppliers in the UAE, India, China and Europe, each with its own layout and VAT details.

None of this is difficult. It is slow, and it depends on one or two people who know how everything fits together. When they are on leave, the work waits.

Which workflow automation tasks can AI take over?

The automation works between the systems you already use: Outlook or Gmail, WhatsApp, your ERP, accounting software, CRM, shared drives and Excel or Google Sheets. No pile of new software: your team keeps its screens and habits.

• Invoices - reads PDF invoices, extracts supplier, amount, VAT and due date, matches them with the purchase order and books them in accounting.
• Supplier and customer emails - sorts incoming mail, recognizes requests, order confirmations and complaints, and drafts replies or routes them to the right person.
• Data entry - moves data from forms, PDFs and emails into your CRM, ERP or spreadsheets, and checks for missing fields.
• Reports - builds daily or monthly reports and dashboards from your own data, without copying between files.
• Approvals - collects the documents, prepares the case and sends it to the person who decides.

How does invoice automation fit the UAE e-invoicing rollout?

The UAE is introducing mandatory e-invoicing. A pilot and voluntary phase runs from 1 July 2026. From 1 January 2027, e-invoicing is mandatory for businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more; they must appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) by 30 October 2026. Businesses below AED 50 million follow from 1 July 2027 and must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027.

E-invoices go through an ASP approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). AI Vision Hub is not an ASP. We connect the AI steps around it, such as capture, matching and approvals, to your ERP and the ASP you choose.

Example: a supplier emails an invoice as a PDF. The AI reads it, finds the matching purchase order in the ERP, checks quantities and VAT and flags a price difference. The finance manager only opens the one invoice that needs a decision.

Anything that needs judgment, responsibility or a signature. Payments, credit decisions, contract changes and sensitive customer cases are prepared by the AI and released by a person. Every step is logged, so you can see what the system did and why.
